Fish Curry without Oil

A fish curry with no oil. Fish cooked with tamarind juice, coconut, onions, tomatoes and chillies in a clay pot. Fresh, easy and quick.
Ingredients
- 1/2 kg fresh fish
1 bowl of tamarind juice
Clay pot to cook
1 big onion
2 tomatoes
3 tablespoons grinned coconut
2 green chillies
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
2 teaspoon red chilli powder
Salt
Water
Curry leaves
Ginger
Method
Take chopped fish in a bowl and add tamarind juice to it and let it stay for 2-3 minutes.
Heat the clay pot.
Pour the fish in the clay pot and add chopped onion and tomatoes.
Add grinned coconut mixed with turmeric powder.
Then add green chillies and pour water and let it heat.
Season with turmeric, chilli powder and salt.
Add curry leaves and finely chopped ginger.
Bring it to boil.

Chicken Masala without Oil

A low fat chicken masala recipe with absolutely no oil.
Ingredients
- 1 chicken, cut into pieces
1 lemon juice
3 small onions sliced
3-4 green chillies slit
4 cloves of garlic, crushed
1 Tbsp ginger, grated
For the Spices:
(mix all into yogurt)
1 tsp red chilli powder
2 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp all spices powder (garam masala)
1/2 tsp paprika
Salt according to your taste
250 ml yogurt
Method
Mix the chicken with lemon juice and onions. Let it rest for atleast 1 hour.
Once done, mix together all the remaining ingredients into yogurt and pour over the chicken.
Now take a non stick pan and start cooking chicken until it leaves just a nice thick coating of masala on the pieces.
Taste for salt and serve with coriander leaves.
