**THE TRIPURARI POURNIMA IS THE ANIRUDDHA POURNIMA IMPORTANCE:
The Aniruddha Pournima is the day of birth of Sadguru Shree Aniruddha – The One to whom millions address their faith.
Sadguru Shree Aniruddha Bapu was born on ‘Tripurari Pournima’, 18th November, 1956.
The day of the ‘Tripurari Pournima’ is indeed an auspicious day, a significantly sacred day because:
- It was the day when Lord Shiva, the parmatma slew the demon ‘Tripurasur’.
- It was the day when the arrow of Parshuram caused the sea water to ebb.
- It was on this day that Shree Hanumanta made open to the world, His heart - the fact that it was the dwelling of Shreeram, Laxman and Janaki.
- It was on this day that Lord Vitthal, i.e. Bal Krishna (the young Shreekrishna), who stood on a brick in the home of His bhakta Pundalik, stood as the idol that was installed on his (Pundalik’s) insistence.
The highlights of this special day include:
** EVENTS OF THE DAY:
-------------------------- -----------
The function begins with the recitation of Sadguru Upasana.
Each and every bhakta who attends the function looks forward to a very special moment – a moment that he cherishes in his heart at all times – the darshan of the Sadguru.
Every bhakta longs for the darshan and the love and grace of Sadguru Shree Aniruddha for this one look of love and grace fills their lives with light – the soothing and gentle light of the full moon – the light that is all the same, Aniruddha – boundless, incessant and unstoppable –and that the bhaktas know, will wipe out all darkness. Every day, every moment of their life will be the Aniruddha Pournima.
1) On this day bhaktas can address and offer the ‘Garhane’ to their Sadguru. The ‘Garhane’ is a call, a cry from the heart asking for blessings and support at all times. Here again every bhakta can participate in this call sung continuously in groups.
2) Sadguru Shree Aniruddha is fond of a sweet called ‘Appe’ (Small rounded sweet made from udid dal (a pulse)). Bhaktas specially make these at home and carry them to the venue. The organization arranges to accept and receive these – the love and the gratitude of so many millions for their Sadguru, this unique Friend, who loves them and will love them no matter what. They are then distributed among all the devotees as the prasad.
3) The idols of Shreeram, Seeta, Laxman and Hanumanta which are worshipped everyday in sadguru Aniruddha Bapu’s home are brought to the venue and the abhishek (anointing) is performed on these idols as the devotees recite the Ramraksha stotra alongside. Any and every bhakta may participate in the recitation of the Ramraksha, sit before these idols and take the darshan to their heart’s content.
4) Devotees may, if they wish to, light the ‘Svechcha Sankalp Sudeep’ which means they may light the sudeep and make a resolve before the photograph of the Sadguru.
5) Bhaktas may also offer the ‘Uud’ (fragrant incense) before the photograph of the Sadguru. Devotees seem eager to make this offering as they believe that offering of ‘Uud’ with faith and conviction will burn down the negative and undesirable vibes in them.
