Sassoon hospital (Pune), Seva

            Sassoon hospital is a one of the well known government hospital in Pune .It has all facilities and advanced technologies available at very reasonable fees. But till three years before due to patient’s illiteracy and improper guidance many  people were unaware about hospital  facilities & faces too much inconvineance to get proper treatment .

              Shree Aniruddha Upasana foundation was started seva in Sasoon hospital on 3rd of September 2007 which is also the foundation day of Shri Aniruddha Gurukshetram.

According to the hospital survey, everyday different OPD’s done between 9am to 4pm. Regarding this, proper information was given to the all volunteers at the time of opening ceremony in a small workshop.

Initially Sassoon hospital seva was provided three days a week from 9am to 1pm.But  the dean ( Dr.Jamkar) and doctors were highly impressed by the type of  volunteer’s work and by response from patients, they request Shree Aniruddha Upasana foundation to extend the seva time  & days .

OPD ( Outdoor Patient Department) seva

               After getting permissions regarding this Shree Aniruddha Upasana foundation were start to provide OPD patient department seva between 9am to 4pm every day.

The patients coming in the hospital are very needy and from workers class, on an average 2000 patients visit the hospital daily, all these are benefited by this seva.

IPD patients also were attended and according to their requirement, old clothes were provided to them from Old is gold yojana (P.P.Bapu’s 13 point Unique programme ) and information about their residence facilities and canteen facilities given.

          Almost 500 volunteers participate in the sasoon seva per month from last three years . Due to this  seva it has become very easy for patients to take benefit of all available facilities in hospital . Doctors can also give sufficient time to patient as the excess crowd is controlled by  Shree Aniruddha Upasana foundation, Pune centre volunteers.The hospital workers also now started co-operating to all volunteers .

Sasoon swachata is also a part of this hospital seva. Periodically it is performed in the hospital and is very useful for patients , doctors, and workers. Till now Shree Aniruddha Upasana foundation, Pune centre have conducted swachata seva for sasoon hospital for five times. Average 200 volunteers were participated in this seva every time.

Swachata seva

                  During Swine Flu period  seva was provided at Sasoon Hospital with proper precautions. As Param Pujya Sadguru Shree Aniruddha Bapu told the importance of swachata seva during contagious diseases in his Tera Kalami Yojana,(P.P.Bapu’s 13 point Unique programme ) Hospital was cleaned twice a day in the period of swine flu.

Till date Blood donation camp was conducted for sasoon blood bank for three times by Shree Aniruddha Upasana foundation, Pune centre . Average 300 bottles blood was donated every time.

DMV’s assisting Sasoon Hospital staff 

                  On 13th Feb.2010 at German Bakery in Pune there was an explosion because of Bomb. 18 DMV’s from  Aniruddha's Academy of Disaster Management (AADM), Pune center’s  were assisted the Sasoon Hospital staff in shifting the blast victims from casualty to the general ward and Incentive care Unit. DMV’s also helped the victims for the admissions, getting their X- rays and CT scans procedures.
